The laboratory is equipped with a comprehensive range of precision dimensional measurement equipment. Measurement accuracy and repeatability are ensured by strictly controlled environmental conditions.

  • Traceable standards are held for:
    • Length
    • Roundness
    • Flatness
    • Surface finish
  • The Metrology Laboratory is well equipped and able to offer both a Gauge Calibration Service as well as a Measurement & Inspection Service.
  • Able to offer customers a free ‘Computerised Gauge Recall System’ service.
  • Free collection and delivery of gauges can be arranged within the local area.
  • The department is staffed by engineers with a total of over 50 man years experience in precision engineering and measurement.
